Sonia V. O'Loughlin died in Vineland Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011.

Born in 1947 in Antigua, West Indies, Sonia moved with her family to St. Kitts when she was eight years old. She immigrated to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, in 1967, and later moved to Florida and then to northern New Jersey. Sonia was the mother of Warren O'Loughlin, Julian O'Loughlin, and Patrice O'Loughlin, and the grandmother of one, Aaron Gabriel O'Loughlin. She is survived by three sisters and three brothers, Pauline Lewis, Helen Lewis, Joan Lewis, William Lewis, Lionel Lewis and Donald Lewis. Left to mourn are two loving nieces and one nephew, as well as cousins, other relatives and friends. Her keen sense of humor will surely be missed.
